Verdejo produces moderately alcoholic wines with medium-high acidity and a high ratio of tartaric acid / malic acid. The wines are structured and glycerid, soft, tasty and lingering bitter aftertaste.
-The wines cover a range of color ranging from greenish yellow to straw, with steely tones and medium light layer.
-The wines of Verdejo bring intense aromas, fruity, with herbal nuances, white flowers with bitter tones that give them a marked aromatic typicity, resulting unmistakable.
– Formerly the variety was used for the production of generous wines, together with the Palomino variety. Currently, excellent young varietal wines are produced, or mixed with Sauvignon Blanc and Macabeo.
– Its structure allows fermentation and aging in barrels. More recently, the Verdejo variety is also used for the production of sparkling wines.
